It started about 3 p.m. this while I was reading the blogs. At first I thought maybe I was dehydrated from working out earlier, so I drank some water. But then it got worse, so much so I had to lay down for about 15 minutes. I even took some Tyle.nol and that seemed to help a little, but I'm still feeling it.
I'm not sure if this is from the Lu.pron shots, which I'm on Day 4 today, or from my BCPs. Tonight will be my last night of BCPs, so we'll have to see if anything changes.
I do think though that I'm experiencing some warmness from the Lu.pron shots, though I still can't say it feels like hot flashes. Just needing a sheet and only part of the down comforter while in bed. I usually like to bury myself in my comforter in these Minnesotan winters. No major discomfort yet so I'm not complaining, for now.
But the headache, it's got to go!
I finally replaced my library card today, after giving up on trying to find it since it went MIA a couple of months ago. I figured I'll be needing some DVDs for my recovery after egg retrieval and bed rest after transfer.
I rented "Up" from the library today. You can't beat 50 cents a day rental! OK, I'm off to watch it with my Babe!

Sounds like the Lupron that I am familar with. I hope tomorrow is better!
ReplyDeleteI have never taken Lupron only the microdose form but I can tell you that BCPs are just the worst! I was not on them the first time around and I had no headaches, with the second cycle my RE put me on BCPs beforehand. I swear the headaches I got from them was worst than the whole IVF cycle!! I hope they are to blame and that after tomorrow you will feel brand new again!! Enjoy Up!! It's an amazing movie.. about movies to watch after your ET, go for those movies that make you smile and make you feel happy!! I am sure it helps!!! :))))
ReplyDeleteIf the Tylenol doesn't work, you can try ice or heat packs on your neck and forward. As a fellow headache sufferer I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteI hope the headache cleared. I love the movie Up! The little boy scout is my favorite! I hope you like it too.
ReplyDeleteUP! was such a cute movie - i loved it!!
ReplyDeleteboohoo for headaches. mine went away when we lowered my lupron dosage to start the stims. hopefully, you're feeling better already :o)
Try the Phiten necklace. Helps me with my migraines, although mine are triggered by stress & heat.
ReplyDeleteAH! Up is such a tear-jerker. I cried like a baby and I never cry during movies.
ReplyDeleteYesterday night was my last night of BCPs! Good luck!! Let the stims begin.
Yes, I definitely get Lupron headaches. I hope it goes away soon. I also got some hot flashes. The good news is these things tend to lift after you start stim drugs...
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through another TTC blog. I can't wait to read more about your story and follow you. Sorry about the headache. Up is one of my absolute favorite movies! You are sure to love it!
ReplyDeleteUP is such a sweet movie, but yes, it's very sad, too! Hope you have some Kleenex nearby!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon and get some relief from the headaches.
I do hope your headache has gone away, they are the worse, especially when meds don't help.
ReplyDeleteDid you enjoy "Up"? It's such a tear jerker. Even made my "doesn't cry during movie" husband tear up. Haha.
Feel better and Good luck!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments and suggestions. Yes I loved Up! Russell the kid so reminds me of my Babe coz he (my Babe) was an Eagle Scout and is such a wilderness guy. He loves to camp, including winter camping!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was fitting that Mr. Frederickson and Ellie could not have kids. I kept thinking, boy I wonder if the kids watching this movie was getting all that was happening in the beginning of the movie. It was a really sweet movie, and I love Dug, (the dog) almost the most! "Squirrel!!" LOL, made me laugh so hard!
Did you cry during Up? I am so scared to watch it because everyone I know cried most of the movie!
ReplyDeleteHope your headache went away!

Yeah, I cried too, mostly in the beginning, and at the very end. Wonder if kids cry when watching this.
