Last night, I realized I had not updated the "A Little About Me" section of my blog. I had to change "I'm 37" from 36.
37.... That's a lot closer to 40 than 30, or 35 for that matter. I had in the past hung on to the fact that 36 is just a tad bit more than 35. But 37? That's a whole other story.
I'm pretty sure I fall under the "advanced maternal age" category.
Sigh......
I'm 38 and my advice is to just embrace the big 37 :) I struggled with 38, as it just felt so, well....advanced. But, I'll take it!

My doctor had the courtesy to remind me of my age not long ago, and it's impact on my fertility (as if I weren't aware!).
ReplyDeleteBut that said... I agree with Andrea, embrace it. Don't let it get you down too much.

Being 39 all I can say is it's just one number and just one factor and not the deciding one AT ALL. Hope this is your year!
